How long will the Ladurée macarons last and how should I preserve them?

For optimal taste, your Ladurée macarons are best kept in a cool place and consumed within 4 days of packaging date. Your macarons should be removed from the refrigerator 15 to 20 minutes before eating in order to enjoy their flavour fully.

What are the allergens included in Ladurée products?

All our macarons are gluten free.
For other products, you can find the ingredients and allergens in the details descriptions on our website at www.laduree.us.  

Can I consume a Ladurée product after its use-by date?

Our macarons should not be consumed beyond the 4 days following the packaging date.
Our pastries are to be eaten on the day of their purchase.
For all other products (jam, dragées, tea, marshmallows, etc), the date of minimum durability is indicated on the packaging.

Does Ladurée have gluten-free macarons or products and products without lactose/sugar?

All our macarons are gluten-free. For other products, you can find the ingredients and allergens in the details descriptions on our website at www.laduree.us.

My order arrived thawed or warmer than expected. What do I do?

We regularly conduct test shipments and adjust shipping speeds or packaging according to the season to mitigate the risk of shipping fresh and frozen foods. Occasionally, packages are affected by conditions beyond our control, such as extreme seasonal temperatures. Our products that require refrigeration are safe to enjoy as long as they arrive cool to the touch. 

My order will arrive a day after my requested delivery date. Will it still be fresh?

Occasionally orders are delayed due to bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances. The Laduree team packs orders to ensure they remain fresh upon delivery. Upon arrival, please refrigerate your order. 

Does Ladurée offer wedding cakes?

We offer a chic range of wedding cake options that will make your special day unforgettable. With the help of our sales team, we can make sure it is customized to your liking and perfect for the big day

Can I add writing to my Ladurée cake?

All cakes can be customized with a special plaque that will be placed on top of your cake. The plaque can be customized with any wording that you would like.

Does Ladurée offer cutomized macarons?

Can I choose my macaron flavors?

We do not offer customized flavors in gift boxes purchased on our website. Each box comes with a hand picked selection of classic and seasonal flavors. 

The flavors shown in the photo don't match what I received. What can I do?

We aim to surprise and delight you with an assortment of flavors in each box. While the flavors you receive might vary from what's pictured, rest assured, that we handpick each one for its quality and taste. Our selection spans from timeless classics to seasonal delights, ensuring every box is delightful.

The product I received looks different than the one I ordered. What should I do?

We strive to provide a delightful experience with each order. Some products have packaging that changes based on availability but the contents are always the same as what was originally ordered.

Where are Ladurée Macarons Made?

Historically made in Paris, since 2020 all our macaroons have been made in our Swiss factory, in order to guarantee the perfect homogeneity of this product throughout the world.
Our Swiss factory also produces Eugénies and chocolates.

Why should I create an account ?

Creating an account allows you to follow your order status, update your personal information, manage your password and follow our products through our newsletters.

How can I update my personal details ?

To update your personal details, you need to log into your account with your email address and password, then in the section "My Account", click "My informations"

I have forgotten my password, how can I access my account ?

You just need to click on the link "Forgot your password ?" and enter the email address used for your Ladurée account. An email will be sent to you in order to set up your new passsword.

How can I unsubscribe from the newsletter ?

You can decide to stop receiving our newsletter by clicking on the link "Unsubscribe" at the bottom of each mail you receive from us. 
You can also unsubscribe when logged into your account, in the section "My account", "My subscriptions".

How do I place an order?

You can order our products from this site by clicking on the tab "Online shop". After having chosen your shipping mode and products, you must add them to your shopping cart. You then need to log into your account by entering your email address and password. If you haven't got an account yet, you need to fill out the registration form. Enter your delivery address and billing address. If you would like to do so, you can join a personal message to your order. You must then accept our general terms and conditions of sale before proceeding to secured payment. Once your order is accepted and the online payment is made, a confirmation email is sent to you. It contains your order number.

How can I add a message to my order?

We offer the possibility to add a complimentary personal message to your order.
The option will be available during the check out process. 

Where can I find my order number?

Your order number may be found in your confirmation email. You can also find it in "My account" --> "My orders".

I have not received an order confirmation email. What should I do?

Please allow 30 minutes after your order is placed to receive your confirmation email.
If after 30 minutes, you still have not received anything check your spam folder.

I would like to check my order progress. What should I do?

You can find your order status in "My account" --> "My orders".

Can I change my order content?

After your order is placed, there is no way to change the order contents. If you wish to cancel your order and place a new order with the correct items please reach out to ladureeus@laduree.com with your order number within 24 hours of placing the order.

I would like to order a gift. What should I do?

Ladurée offers a wide selection of gifts for any loved one that can be shipped directly to them. Complete with a complimentary personal gift note, we make it easy to order the perfect gift. No receipt is sent with the order so we protect the surprise.

If you are ordering something perishable, please let the person know that it is coming so they are aware to put it in the refrigerator upon reception. 

I want to order a big amount of products. Who should I contact?

Is an invoice sent with the package?

No invoice is sent with the shipment. Only a preparatory bill is handed with the package.

What should I do if an item is missing in my order?

If you believe you are missing an item in your order, please email ladureeus@laduree.com within 24 hours of the reception of your order and include the order number and which item is missing.

What is your Return Policy?

Due to hygienic reasons, food products can not be returned.

For any other product, please email ladureeus@laduree.com within 24 hours of the reception of your order and include the order number and reason for wanting to return the item.

Please note that the customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the item. 

Which online payment options are available?

Only payments by credit card are accepted for an online payment. We accept payments by Visa, Blue Card, Mastercard and American Express. It is also possible to pay via Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Is payment secure?

We assure you that the payments made on our website and the information related to your order are secure. This information is cyrpted and protected by our online payment service.

When is the payment taken into account?

Your bank account will be charged when your order is has shipped. You will also receive a confirmation email that your order was shipped along with a copy of your receipt. 

What can I do if the payment is dishonoured?

If your payment is rejected, your order is automatically cancelled. You should then go back to the section "My account", then select "Renew".

How can I receive a copy of my invoice?

You can find your invoice in your account - your orders. You can also ask for it through our contact form.

How do you ship macarons?

Our macarons are shipped in thermally insulated packaging to ensure they remain at an ideal temperature until they are delivered to you.

Where do you delivery?

We deliver nationwide in the US with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska.

What information should I give for efficient deliveries?

For the most efficient order delivery, please provide us with accurate and complete information when entering your delivery address. If you are placing an order for someone else, ensure they will be available to receive the package on the delivery date.

For deliveries to companies, the shipment will be handed to the reception desk. Please note that some hospitals may not accept packages intended for patients or doctors.

Can I pick up my order directly in a shop?

Ladurée offers order pickup in our stores through 2 options:

1. Place your order through local pickup for everyday orders
2. Contact our sales team to place a special order

What is your delivery timing?

Ladurée partners with FedEx to ensure reliable shipping for your orders.
We offer the following shipping options:

FedEx Second Day: Delivery within 2 days from shipment, including Saturday. Available for perishable products within a 250-mile radius around New York City.
FedEx Priority Overnight: Next-day morning delivery from shipment, including Saturday.
FedEx Standard Overnight: Next-day afternoon delivery from shipment, excluding Saturday.
FedEx Ground Home Delivery: Delivery within 3 to 5 days from shipment, including Saturday and Sunday for residential addresses.

Please note that perishable items will need to be sent with overnight shipping. Home delivery is available within a 250-mile radius for 1-2 days or 3-5 business days with ground shipping for non-perishable items. You will get an email with the tracking once it has been shipped.

While we strive for prompt delivery, we cannot guarantee exact delivery times.

How can I track the progress and delivery of my order?

We partner with FedEx to ensure reliable shipping for your orders. When your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation that contains your tracking number. You can follow the tracking number to see the progress of your order.

Can I change my delivery address or date once my order has been validated ?

You can change your delivery address or date only if the delivery time allows it. Your change request must reach us at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date, using our contact form. The new delivery address will have to be in the same country as the one initially registered when ordering.

What should I do if my order is damaged in transit?

We take extra care when packaging our orders to prevent damage during transit. However, if your order arrives damaged and you're unable to enjoy it, please use the contact form on our website to notify us. We'll swiftly address the issue and ensure your satisfaction.

I sent my order as a gift and the recipient was not available or didn’t open the package in time. What should I do?

We kindly remind customers to inform their recipients about incoming perishable items and ensure someone is available to receive the package upon delivery.

Please note that Laduree cannot be held responsible for reported damages caused by delays in opening and appropriately storing the package’s contents upon delivery.

My order was sent to the wrong address. What should I do?

Please note that you have 24 hours after an order is placed to change the shipping address of your order.

If the correct shipping address was given and your order still went to the wrong address, please email ladureeus@laduree.com within 24 hours of the delivery date and include the order number and a form of proof that your order went to the wrong address.

Ladurée is not responsible for refunds or replacements of orders with incomplete, invalid, or incorrect addresses. The customer is responsible for checking the confirmation email at the time of placing their order. Ladurée is also not responsible for packages sent to recipients who are not available to accept packages on the delivery date. 

Inclement Weather Advisories

During adverse weather conditions such as freezing temperatures, snow, extreme heat, rain, hurricanes, tornadoes, and others, there might be delays in receiving your order due to courier disruptions.

Please note that Ladurée cannot be held responsible for delays caused by inclement weather.

If you believe your order has been affected by such delays and is no longer suitable for consumption upon arrival, kindly fill out our contact form here, and we will promptly address your concerns. 

I need my package delivered by a specific time, how can I arrange this?

Once your order has left our stores, we are unable to control the delivery timeframe.
FedEx provides expected delivery times for its packages as a convenience to its customers, but it is important to note that these delivery times are not guaranteed.

Can I ship to a PO Box, or APO / Military location?

We are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes, APO boxes, and Amazon Hubs or Lockers at this time, due to the perishable nature of our products.

We can ship to residential addresses, businesses, venues, and apartment buildings.

My order was not shipped on time and is therefore arriving late. What can I do?

We do our best to ship all orders on the delivery date selected but certain circumstances may prohibit this. Delays can be expected during the holiday season or in the event of inclement weather.

Please note that Ladurée is not responsible for reimbursing shipping charges in the event of a late order.

We are available on Doordash, Ubereats, and Grubhub for local delivery.

We ship our products from locations located in Los Angeles and New York.
